Health Protocols
BYL is committed to following the safety standards for youth sports activities as required by the Commonwealth, the town of Belmont and our private host facilities. As with the Fall Ball program, you should review the attached health protocols and have a conversation with your child about the importance of social distancing and wearing masks.
Also, as with our fall program, BYL has again partnered with Belmont Soccer Association (BSA) to use the TeamSnap application to assist with tracking attendance as well as to certify that players are in appropriate condition to participate. An email will be sent to the address you used during registration, inviting you to join Belmont Lacrosse within TeamSnap. Please note that you will need to accept the TeamSnap invite, download the app and complete the Health Check via the app for each weekly Winter Ball clinic.
See the TeamSnap Health Check site for more info: https://helpme.teamsnap.com/article/1501-health-check.
Each athlete will need to check in with their coach to verify their status within the app before they can participate. To comply with guidelines, we will be employing a firm policy that no athlete will be allowed to participate until they have attested through this application. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to assist with this process.
Please note that there are no spectators allowed at Teamworks or in the Butler Elementary School. Parents should plan to drop children off at the door to both facilities and pick up after the clinic ends.
We appreciate your understanding as we do our best to ensure the Winter Ball program is as safe and seamless as possible. As always if you have any questions please feel free to reach out.
